Datastore IOPS Limit Configuration

Hi,

 

Is there a way to confgure IOPS limitation on datasotre level on vSphere? Not VM level.

No, you cannot configure on a datastore level, only on a per VM or per VMDK level.

It's possible to set a so called  'IOps capacity' on the datastore level: https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/2148300

but it's not completely clear if the setting is useful only in conjunction with VCD or could be used to enforce limits in general.
