Can I install multiple application on single VM?

Hi,

What will be the effect (in terms of performance) of installing (multiple applications (Symantec antivirus server and Veritas backup exec etc...) on single VM in production environment? Is this recommended? Please provide any supporting url for the same.

A VM is very similar to a physical machine.

What is the impact of install multiple application on a real machine? Maybe you need more RAM, sometimes more core.

The answer is: if you need these application, then just install them. But watch at VM performance and if needed increase VM resources.
