Hola,
Existe el VIC para correrlo sobre linux y no sobre windows?
Tengo un cliente que tiene todas sus máquinas cliente en Linux y quiere montar un ESXI, y para gestionarlo quiere utilizar el VIC.
Es posible? existe?
La versión es vsphere ESXi

A fecha de hoy, existe una beta de VC 2.5 sobre linux (http://communities.vmware.com/community/beta/vcserver_linux) , pero el cliente sigue corriendo exclusivamente sobre windows, por lo que no le quedará otra opción que instalar una máquina windows.

No hay una versión oficial del VIC para linux pero hay work arounds con wine-1.1.14
Chequea estos dos links. Hay gente que lo teniente corriendo en un Ubuntu.
