SSL Connection to target failed - Certificate retrieval failed:Name Resolution (DNS Lookup) failed

I was able to run the healthcheck on our vcenter server 2023-08-22T20:36:11 successfuly but on 2023-08-31T16:12:01 it failed. Does anyone know why it would suddenly fail the dns resolution? No changes were made to the dns entry for skyline.

resolved the network issue by creating the file touch /etc/systemd/network/10-eth0.network.manual and providing permissions.

Thanks @anshumansingh I don't seem to have the same issue as the link above. Here's the output from

/opt/vmware/share/vami/vami_config_net
 Main Menu

0)	Show Current Configuration (scroll with Shift-PgUp/PgDown)
1)	Exit this program
2)	Default Gateway
3)	Hostname
4)	DNS
5)	Proxy Server
6)	IP Address Allocation for eth0
Enter a menu number [0]:
15/09/2023 14:24:33 [ERROR] failed to read network interface files for 'eth0'
15/09/2023 14:24:33 [ERROR] failed to read network interface files for 'eth0'

Network Configuration for eth0
