How do I change the DNS settings on the Skyline appliance?

@phardcastle2016 Please update the file /etc/systemd/network/*-static-en.network file for the appliance. You will find an entry starting with DNS=

Change the entry her. If you have multiple DNS servers to enter, separate them with space. Post update restart the network service by running systemctl restart systemd-networkd

The solution is simple.

  1. Shutdown. 
  2. in vcenter go configure / vApp options
  3. Set value for vami.DNS.VMware_Skyline_Appliance (use , to separate DNS servers)
  4. boot
