I have a Skyline Collector showing 'Unknown'. I know this no longer exists and I also see that 'You can only deregister a collector which is in the inactive state'.
How do I go about removing the unknown collector from my Skyline config?
Thanks in advance
Hi @Mike CTID Taylor,
Thank you for the details. The collector is de-registered now.
Welcome to Skyline Communities !!!
Follow the same steps which is used to remove an inactive Skyline Collector from your Cloud Services Organization.
Procedure
1 In a web browser, go to https://skyline.vmware.com/advisor. Login to Cloud Services.
You can use your existing My VMware account details to log in to VMware Cloud Services. You donot need to create a new account for the purposes of utilizing VMware Cloud Services.
2 Within Skyline Advisor, click Dashboard.
3 Click Show Collector Details.
4 Find the Skyline Collector that you want to DeRegister from Skyline. Click DeRegister.
5 Click Yes to confirm that you want to DeRegister the Skyline Collector from Skyline.
If the above steps doesn't help, kindly share the details in the below link and we can assist.
Hi,
I have already tried to do this, the collector is unknown and greyed out. The deregister option is not available
when I mouse over the info symbol I get the following pop up
The collector appliance VM no longer exists, it was deleted before we knew about it and were not able to deregister before the fact.
Thanks

Hi
Our account ID is e1155936-c03e-4857-bd18-edc6b43d9c6a
It's not obvious how I find the collector ID in Skyline, we have 10 registered, 9 of which are named and healthy, the unknown one displays no name.
The collector name was skyln-test-1 if that helps
Cheers
