SPAM on forum

Not product related, but forum related.

So I wanted to get notified of all posts since I rarely go online to the web-page to check.  Anyway over the past week there have been lots of SPAM type submissions.  You clean them from the online portal well, but can you please reduce the number of emails that go out - have people check over registrations, or approve posts, or something.
