How do I remove an orphaned collector?

Our VCSA bit it last week during the upgrade to L. We had to rebuild the VCSA from scratch, and as could be expected, the Skyline Collector set to pull data from it also failed, saying it couldn't talk to the VCSA.

I deleted the Skyline Collector and spun up a new one to talk to the VCSA. That works....but it's still complaining about the old collector being unable to be contacted, but I can't deregister it, as it's not treating it as inactive.

 How do I delete this orphaned collector instance when the VM has already been deleted?

@knapheideit,

Could you please clarify if you're talking about the Orphaned collector VM in your vSphere inventory or on the Collectors page within Skyline Advisor?

Ideally, we should be following this procedure to deregister a Skyline Collector - De-Register and/or Re-Register a Skyline Collector (74677) (vmware.com)
