Error: Mouse thread did not respond to grab request

Hello - 

I have been having this problem for months now.  

Error: Mouse thread did not respond to grab request

Consequence: 

1. The host and the VMware locks up 
2. If I wait a few minutes it will start working again or if not, I have to shut everything down and reboot
3. This happens a few times a day

Can someone help me solve this problem?
