A couple of weeks back I built a new Skyline collector. All was working fine. It was providing me alerts and I decided to take action.
We upgraded the vSphere appliance and the vCenter from 6.7 to v7, latest build. During the process we changed the vCenter password as the old one was not secure enough.
As of this morning, Skyline is telling me "Endpoints Not Working" with a red error. As best as I can tell this came from the password change as I also had to fix the backup server's connection to vCenter. When I click on the blue "Edit" button, it automatically fills in the FQDN and the login name I would expect. It does not accept the new password for the vCenter. It does give me a certificate error the first time I try the password.
I want to get Skyline up and running to confirm that I have resolved some of the alerts and plan further action. Any ideas?
