Hi,
We have deployed the Skyline 2.0 appliance into our environment and can get through to the configuration wizard but are getting stuck at Step 7 with the error:
If I manually browse to: https://str-psc1:7444/sso-adminserver/sdk I get the following XML which looks incorrect?
Is anybody able to help? We have tried every possible combination of URL's/IP addresses and usernames and passwords. The username and password provided has access to the Vsphere client as you can login and browse the client no problem.
Thank you for your time over the webex.
Resolution:
1. Unable to ping vCenter using the FQDN.
2. Update Details for DNS , Domain name.
3. Configured endpoint vCenter with Skyline.
You should be able to access Skyline Advisor post 3 to 4 days.
Hello,
Welcome to communities.
Please confirm if you are using external PSC and if the domain name(vsphere.local) is customized.
Hello,
Yes I can confirm we use an external PSC. We do not belive the domain name to have been customized but is there a way I can check to make sure?
Hello,
Kindly run the command from PSC
If Windows machine
C:\Program Files\VMware\vCenter Server\vmafd\vmafd-cli.exe get-domain-name --server-name localhost
If appliance
/usr/lib/vmware-vmafd/bin/vmafd-cli get-domain-name --server-name localhost
Hi, it is a Linux appliance (6.5). This is the output on the PSC server when I run the command in the shell:
Do let us know if I could share a zoom meeting so we can connect to each other and take a webex.
Hello, yes that is ok, please let me know the details so I can connect.
I have shared the Zoom meeting details over a PM.
Thank you for your time over the webex.
