Hi, hopefully someone can help with this. We deployed Skyline several days ago, and apart from one or two minor blips, it registered without any issue and all seemed fine. When we log in to the VMware cloud services, we see the first collector registered (we have 2 physical sites and 1 vCenter appliance per site, so we deployed 1 collector per Site).
Everything 'seemed' to deploy fine, but it's not actually showing anything other than a high level view of the vCenter inventory. I can see both vCenter instances, all the clusters and hosts. But if I select any object (say to view proactive reports) it simply states "Data is not available for the applied search or filter."
After the first collector was deployed, we got a notification of the collector being registered in the cloud services portal, along with a message saying initial analysis had completed. However, for the next analysis it states it is due "11/16/2018 15:07:25 GMT"... Well, here we are at 16:30 on 16th November 2018 (GMT) and it's still showing that as the time of next analysis. No further analysis has been performed.
Also, the second collector doesn't show as registered. Even though it's all green, processing logs and uploading to the cloud. We even see the inventory for the vCenter instance that this collector has registered with, but the collector itself isn't listed in the dashboard.
All very frustrating, especially when the benefits have been pushed quite hard by our VMware TAM and we've no way of knowing what is actually happening (or rather, not happening).
Any help appreciated.
Thanks

This could have occurred because it usually take few days before you first report is ready. Since which it would given you this error messages.
Hello,
Welcome to communities,
Please help us with the Company name and the email address used to register.
Request you to also use Chrome (incognito mode) and check if you are still observing the same.
Would drop a personal message where you could share your company name and email address.
ashwin_prakash, I have the same problem and send you a personal message, too. Thanks in advance.
I've sent you a private message with the requested details.
Also, the incognito mode made no difference. We still only see one collector registered, but both vCenter inventories are visible in the proactive findings section. yet still no data is available and we still have the message that the next analysis will take place on "11/16/2018 @ 15:07 GMT".
Thanks
Well, something has obviously changed in the 30 minutes between my last post (when nothing was working) and just now as it has miraculously all appeared. We're now seeing a lovely dashboard and both collectors successfully registered. We're even seeing that the last analysis was completed at "11/19/2018 @ 09:33 GMT" with next analysis "@ 11/21/2018"
So, now to have a dive in and see if it actually does what it says on the tin. Early indications are that there's a problem with permissions for gathering logs on the vCenters.. Which is odd because the role is definitely correct. I'll have a dig around and see what I can find.
