we have finding
I have been through all our VDswitches and portgroups and everything is set how it suggests in the KB yet your system says we have 26 objects affected which we dont.
All,
We have updated the finding logic to resolve this false positive. Can you confirm that the Finding is not appearing now for you within Skyline Advisor, noting that this was originally displayed as a false positive.
Any questions, concerns, or feedback, please let us know. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
Hi,
Interesting, you can send us some pictures and write us which version you are using.

So this is on the switches, I have also run the command against the port groups and they all list notify switches set as true on all portgroups and VDswitches and the finding reports that these portgroups and switches are affected not having the notify switches enabled.
Version is v2.3.0.2
Thank you. I try to verify.

Hello MattHumphreys,
Thank you for your post!
My name is Kishore from VMware Skyline team.
I understand that one of the recommendations which you have received on Skyline Advisor is a false positive for finding ID vSphere-VMotionNetworkConnection-KB#1007464 .
Please share your organization details using the following link. We can investigate the cause for the false alarm and post a resolution.
I think I have the same issue - it says I need "notify=yes" but for the vDS I see they are set to yes.
Aside: the KB really needs to have better steps for the resolution - it is more related to the networking loss than fixing the issue.
I have updated your form as requested.
I believe this to be a bug in the finding logic. Engineering is reviewing the finding logic, and will update appropriately. As soon as it is resolved, I'll reply back to this Discussion. Any other questions or comments, let us know. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
