vVNX SRM 6.1 vSphere 6 u2

First of all I saw this post: VNX SRA for SRM 6.1

The main reason I run the virtual storage appliances is to demo SRM to customers.  For a long time I ran the UBER VNX but wanted the new plugins for vCenter6 plus I was having too many Java issues.

Issue: NO SRA's for any VNX unit on SRM 6.1?  Kinda surprised.

Running vVNX v8.1.3-37078.ova, SRM 6.1, vSphere 6 update2.

Error: no storageports found on the SRA configuration within SRM.

I have two appliances running, NFS datastore created, VM's in the datastore, and the nfs volume is replicated.  Just there is no way to inform SRM of such.

I don't believe the vVNX currently supports SRM either. You may be able to use it with RecoverPoint (hopefully vRP) though I'm not sure about that.

we are Running vSphere 6.0 U1b and looking to upgrade to U2

we run SRM 6.0 as the SRA's for 3PAR and VNX that we need are supported on this version

as you mention there isn't VNX support for SRM 6.1

however SRM 6.0 isn't support on vSphere 6.0 U2 so we are stuck with showstoppers meaning no upgrade path

so to reverse the question, are there any plans to support SRM 6.0 on vSphere 6.0 U2?

I would reach out to your VMware and really most likely your EMC rep.  EMC will have to provide their plans for VNX SRM support?
