vSphere Replication Appliance Failure Impact

If vSphere Replication Appliance is failed then if i will deploy new appliance then how i will get the existing vms replication info in the new appliance.

As per my experience replication needs to be reconfigured for the vms which are replicating through failed replication appliance.

Importantly don't deply second vSphere Replication appliance with original OVF, it will replace the existing appliance in vCenter, so, Add on appliance package needs to be deployed to have multiple vSphere Replication appliances.
