vSphere DR/SRM

Hello experts,

Here is my updated queries:

1. On the DR site, if VM’s in an ‘off’ state and no user connection would be made to the kit, only the VMware esxi hosts will be on/off. Shall I require vSphere license? :
2. Rather go for vSphere license for DR site, shall I transfer my vSphere license from Protected site to DR site incase protected site went down? :

Regards

PK

@9990374530 ,

Yes, you need license assigned to ESXi hosts at both sites.

Please refer this FAQ --> Site Recovery Manager FAQ

Look for this question under 'Pricing and licensing' Are VMware vSphere license required for both protected and recovery sites ?

Hope that answers the question.
