Why does the vSphere Replication Server keep the name localhost.localdom?

If I change the hostname either from the website or the local console it looks fine, but it I reboot the appliance, the hostname goes back to localhost.localdom.

I also find if I change the name of the appliance or set a static IP address, the green tick next to the Deploy a VR Server does not come on.

Found the fix to the first part, if the appliance cant resolve its IP address using reverse lookup it will revert back to localhost.localdom. however, our reverse lookup is fine, yet it still keeps reverting to localhost.localdom.

VMware got a back to me, it is a bug and can only be fixed with a code update.
