VCDR for On demand DR with concurrent backup products

Hi wasnt able to find a VCDR placeholder...the question is can we have VCDR to On demand Cloud VMC on AWS use case along with on premise back up software also backing up the same machines that are protected with VCDR ...both being snapshot based technology was not sure of caveat wording in VCDR user guide ...are we saying if we use VCDR for the use case of DR ..we cannot protect the same VM using a VADP backup product at the same site same time ...what are the backup cavteats

Hi @mag2sub ,

Based on your description, I believe you are using SRM with vSphere replication to protect these VMs.  You can use backup solutions to protect the same VMs on-prem.
