What's the recommended (tried, tested & verified) way to upgrade SRM from 5.8.1 to 6.1.2 ?
looking at http://partnerweb.vmware.com/comp_guide2/sim/interop_matrix.php?#upgrade&solution=7 it seems like a number of incremental upgrades are needed first.
My issue is, there seems to be no easy way to export all Recovery Plan configurations from 5.8.1 and import into 6.x
I was hoping to install a new SRM Server, 6.x and export/import into it. looks like that's not an option.
rather than recreating 100's of Recovery Plans for 1000's of VM's, is the incremental upgrade process the best option ?
