We are planning to use the network bond interface in VMware SRM environment for protected virtual machines.
As part of manual IP customization of VM, SRM recovery plan doesn’t understand the bonded interface for
customizing the IP. It allows the IP customization for protected or recovery site for each NIC of a VM.
We would like to know whether VMware SRM supports customizing IP address for bond interface or not?
If yes, could you please let us know the method to assign the IP for protected/recovery site for a
bond interface? If it is not supported is there any KB/documentation which mentions about this
restriction?
Thanks in advance,
-Murali
This would need to be handled through a script run as part of the recovery plan. See here for some details: SRM 5 and Scripts - VMware vSphere Blog

Hi Khalsa,
Thanks for your reply.
Please add this feature also for future releases of SRM. It would be helpful for handling the bond interface in virtual machines.
