Site Recovery Manager 6 - Implementation Questions

Hello everyone,

I'm a little new to SRM and had a few questions that I wasn't able to find.  Hopefully you can help (thanks in advance)!

1. Is there a recommended install path for vCenter (Embedded, External or External PSC) when deploying SRM 6?

2. If I go with the External PSC option, how do I install the second site?  I've been trying to find articles and docs but no luck.

Thanks again for all the help!

Regards,

HB

That is correct that it doesn't support NFS 4.1, it does support NFS 3 (same version supported by vSphere)

I've heard that with SRM I wouldn't be able to have NFS datastores to replicate.  Is that correct?

I've been looking through documentation but wasn't able to find requirement info like this.  Only type of server, DB, CPU, Memory, etc...

Thanks!

gs_khalsa,

Do you have a doc that says SRM 6.x supports NFS 3?

Thanks,

HB
