Should I be concerned when Replication Status says "Not active"

Looks like initial replication went OK. But now when I look at Virtual Machines under vSphere Replication-Virtual Machines, all of the vms have "Not active" under Replication status. What does that mean? Should I be worried?

Having the same issue and in my case it means replication is not working.  So, I'd say worry.

If you hit "Synchronize Now" does it throw an error?

In my case, I migrated the VMs to a different host, and reboot the host (esxi) that is hosting the 'not active' vms. The replication is active again.
