Script a workaround for the APD issue

Hi,

We have been bitten with this APD issue, whereby a couple of hosts on the protected site encountered some issues (dropped out of VC due to excessive logging etc, although thankfully no VMs were affected), when an SRM failover was run and the production volumes were marked as no access on the protected site. Environment is ESX 4.01 (with relevant patch applied that should resolve issue) on the protected and recovery sites with EVA 6000 as the storage arrays Raised a call with VMware support and they've confirmed the issue and as we have the recommended patches applied and the issue still seems to affect 4.1 we're a bit snookered!

Just wanted to put a question out in case anyone has already looked at this but would it be possible to add a post process script to a recovery plan that would unpresent/mask the storage the recommended way (http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=1015084) on the protected site following a failover?

Any input greatly appreciated!

Cheers

DB
