SRM with three sites?

Hi everyone,

Is it possible to have SRM with three sites: A, B and C configured with bi-directional failover between A<-->B and B<-->C. Or is there any other way to support three sites besides using a Shared Recovery Site configuration?

Hi,

Welcome in the community,

You can check here for more information about SRM and stretched cluster. http://www.vmware.com/files/pdf/techpaper/Stretched_Clusters_and_VMware_vCenter_Site_Recovery_Manage...

I believe this is a valid configuration.

But you need 2 SRM instances in site B.  One for A<-->B and one for B<-->C.

Is there any restrictions from licenses perspective?  can we create multiple (maximum supported 10) instances on all three sites without adding more licenses? I just have one SRM 6.5 license and say I am within the limit of 12 VMs not more than that
