SRM site A to site B to site C?

I am wondering if the following setup is possible.  I read some documentation on shared recovery (many to one) but not something that applies exactly to our situation.

Site A has SRM setup and replicates TO Site B.

Site B has SRM setup and replicates TO Site C.

The reason for this type of setup is because we are not looking to replicate the servers at Site A to Site C.  Both Site A and Site B have their own set of servers, so I'm wondering if there is a way to accomplish this.  I thought maybe using the custom SRM extension some way would allow us to accomplish this.

After submitting a ticket to vmware, I was informed this is not possible.

The only way you could realize this would be a split up of your vSphere infrastructure at Site B (2 vCenter, each with a seperate SRM instance). Then you will end up with two seperate one-to-one SRM releationships (A - B1 & B2 & C).

Surely this would have a number of disadvantages from a design perspectiv.

it is technically possible but not with a single instance,  you would have to have two vCenters at Site B one to handle the link to Site A and the second to handle the link to Site C.  these could be in Linked mode for ease of managment.
