SRM installation privileges

Hello everyone,

I have to install for a client of mine SRM 5.1 but I have not all administrator rights on the vcenter.

For reasons of security can not authorize me all the permits, you know what I'd have to activate to install and manage SRM?

Hi, you can refer to SRM 5.1 documentation for SRM Installation and SRM Permissions. You should use user with enough VC privileges that SRM needs for protect, unprotect, recovery use and etc. that are granted during installation of SRM. (Datastore.Replication.Protect, Datastore.Replication.Unprotect, Resource.Recovery Use, Virtual Machine. Replication.Protect, Virtual Machine. Replication.Stop) Also your user must have permissions to install application under Windows.
