SRM install with one VC in linked mode

I have one VC server that resides on the DR Recovery site and one DB server. I can manage both protected and recovery site from one VC interface.

Can I deploy SRM on both DCes with one VC server and one DB server ..

Hi,

No, you must have two instances of vCenter and two instances of SRM (one of them at each site). Each vCenter must manage its "local" hosts and VMs.You also need two DBs:

i see. so 2 SRM can't be installed in only one vCenter. it has to be one vCenter for each SRM. thanks for the image, it gave me a lot of information.http://posting.info.tm/wink.gif

This setup allows us to vmotion VMs between both data centers from one interface.
