SRM newbie here. How critical is it for the underlying server hardware to match at the primary and secondary sites. For example, if the primary site was populated with vendor X servers and the secondary site was populated with vendor Y servers, is that an important consideration? At the hardware server level, is it just important that the processors are vmotion compatible across the SRM environment or just at each site.
Any insight you can provide would be appreciated.
