SRM - Unable to disable Disk Array Pair

Hello,

We have problem with correct uninstallation of Site Recovery Manager by this procedure: https://docs.vmware.com/en/Site-Recovery-Manager/8.3/com.vmware.srm.install_config.doc/GUID-E76E72DE....

Environment and Situation:

2 x vCenter Server 6.7U3 (Appliance)

Esxi Hosts with 6.7U3

2 x SRM 8.2.0 paired with vCenters

Replication is thru Dell Arrays with SRA 18.1.1.173

We need to uninstall SRM, then upgrade all environment to 7.0U3 and then install new SRM Appliance 8.6.1.

Problem:

We successfully performed Points 1-8 (Deleted all mappings, Recovery Plans, Protection Groups etc.).

After that we wanted to disable our 4 array pairs.

3 Array pairs were disabled successfully and we can´t disable the last one with error "Unable to remove array pair 'STORAGE1' - 'STORAGE2'. Array pair is in use by one or more protection groups. Operation ID: 8b057fd2-7d60-4a1f-b844-949a0d58bd9b"

We double-checked both SRM´s inventory and there are no Protection Groups in place.

Anyone any idea?

Thanks,

Ondrej

Hi Ondrej

I would recommend to restart both SRM services (to the protection and recovery site) and try remove the array pair again.

Hope this helps

Ivan
