Hi,

i got one question on SRM Storage replication

i have dual storage EMC Clarion & VNX at both sites Primary & DR

in the above case how the configuration difference would be for SRA

Can you provide a liitle more info? What arrays you have at each site and which one is replicated to which?

Hi,

On each site I have 2 SAN boxes VNX 7500 & Cx4960. 

Currently MirrorView storage level replication is enabled, VNX 7500 replicates to VNX 7500 & Cx4960 replicate to Cx4960 on DR site.

Now I want to configure SRM. so Can we configured SRA (MirrorVies) for both the SAN boxs, and how?

and verify that your arrays and their microcode versions are supported.

Then download SRA and install it at each SRM server. Review the documentation for requirements and installation process.

After installation you will be able to configure SRA and add storage arrays from within SRM UI (Array managers tab).

I referred the docs,

the doubt i have is that can we intigrate 2 boxes with one SRA ? (ofcourse both are compatible as per HCL)

Yes, SRA can manage multiple arrays.

Also if you can tell me about MirrorView Enabler,

will that be installed on the same server which i am using for SRM & SRA ?

and what is the purpose of this when I have SRA already ?
