SRM Install Error -1

While running the initial install of SRM exe I'm receiving the following error message: Has anyone encountered this error and if so, how did you resolve?

Which version of SRM are you installing and what is the vCenter version?

I see that you are using administrator@vsphere.local to authenticate against vCenter. Are you 100% sure that this user has admin rights at the vCenter level (not just the SSO server)?

Yes I use it to manage vCenter

Before you cancel the task go to %TEMP% on the SRM box and check VMSrmInst.log - you may get some detail about why the installation is failing.

Could you download the below installer from VMware portal and verify if you encounter same issue. SRM 5.5.1.7
