Hi,

Integration of VR with SDRS at the target site is on the roadmap for a future releases.

With currently releases, including 5.1, you can reconfigure the replication(s) to another target datastore, however, this internally will stop the old replication, delete all replica files at the target datastore and configure new replication to the new target location.

It might be faster, if you:

1) Take copy the base .vmdk files from the current target datastore (without the hbr-...vmdk redo logs) to the new location.

2) Stop the existing replication(s).

3) Configure the new replications and point them to the already copied disks as initial seed.

This will still perform initial full-sync, but checksum is calculated on the disk blocks and only the changes are transmitted over the network.
