SRM 5, Netapp SRA 2.0.0, Oncommand and Reprotect

Hi All,

Does anyone have any experience with the following combination:

- SRM 5

- Netapp SRA 2.0.0

- Oncommand

- FC LUNs

My scenario:

Volumes/LUNs and snapmirror relationships are defined at the controller level, and then the snapmirror relationships are imported into oncommand.

I can get a successful test failover and actual failover.

The problem arises when I attempt a 'reprotect' - this will not complete successfully.

I am not onsite at the moment, and do not have access to the logs. I am just curious if anyone has this particular combination working successfully with a reprotect operation.

Thanks in advance!

I've seen issues such as this w/ NetApp and SRM environments - do you have any RDM's in the environment? Disclaimer - I work for Zerto but we have customers running into failback/reprotect issues. Zerto does the replication asynchronously as well as the orchestration and automation regardless of the storage or disk type - failover, failback, any point in time recovery through a journal vs SRM's shadow VM's (where the reprotect/failback issues present themselves).
