Has anyone done the upgrade from 5.5 to 5.8 and used the new vPostgreSQL Database?
Is that even a supported Upgrade path, I can not find in the documentation any reference to upgrade and move from MS SQL to vPostgreSQL.

Migration of data from an external database to the embedded database is not supported. You can find details in doc chapter - Upgrade Site Recovery Manager
