I've recently run into an issue when deploying vCenter SRM 4.1 and HP EVA 6500 using the HP EVA Virtualization Adapter 4.0.1. Simple example, we have 2 vDisks, each are a member of a single HP EVA DR group. However, when configuring the Protection Group in SRM, I'm unable to add the DR group to the PG configuration. I'm also unable to add both DataStores (vDisks) to the PG configuration. As a workaround I've been forced to create a new PG for each vDisk. When I opened up a support case with VMware, they basically deferred to HP, and HP said this was by design with that version of the Virtualization adapter. Has anyone come across this before?
