Hi,
If we configured a VM with Thin provisioning will SRM 4.0 support for that VM. CAn any one please confirm this. It is quite urgent.

A virtual machine with a thin provisioned virtual disk can indeed be protected with SRM. A quick look does not turn up any supporting documentation but the virtual machine with a thin provisioned disk is just a virtual machine who's disk has not ballooned to full capacity. An entire LUN is replicated by the underlying technology and the entire datastore will be presented to the recovery ESX hosts. With an intact datastore the expansion state of a thinly provisioned virtual machine disk is irrelevant.
Cheers!

Thanks for prompt reply.

Just to chime in - all my VMs are thinly-provisioned because I don't have a whole heck of space to play about with - and I've never had a problem. thin-provisioning is a core vSphere4 feature so it will work across different SKU as well...
