Does anyone have any new information about the beta program that is suppose to launch this month for SRM 1.5? Any official date and how can I become a part of it? I contacted my local VMWare rep but I haven't got a response back about any specifics. If anyone knowS more please let the community know. Thanks.
Shane,

Joking apart SRM 4.0 Beta started a week or two ago.

Thanks for the info Mike, you know I got the inside info from you originally in one of your post but I'll keep that between us.
No worries, bro.
Most of the SRM team are pretty active on the forums - so they have probably read this post.
I don't think I'm doing any harm by actively assisting people who are enthusiastic about the product to get on the beta prog. For me the more the merrier...

Mike,
i am dreaming... new features vSphere 4.0 support, Failback automation, automated SRM warnings in deployment procedure new VM's, automated protection.......
Wil any of these features be there?
regards, Peter van den Bosch
Peter,
As mentioned earlier, from the VMware side we unfortunately can't comment on expected features in upcoming releases in a public forum at this time. Beta participants sign an NDA that requires them to keep any information they learn in our beta programs confidential. There are a number of reasons for the confidentiality, one of them being that features in the beta are not guaranteed to be in the final release and, vice versa, some features that are not in the first beta may show up in later betas and in the final release.
Thanks for your interest and stay tuned for future information.
