SRA for IBM Storewize - update proecedure question

Hi,

I've to update SRA for IBM Storewize V7000 installed on working SRM to latest version (2.3.0).

I've checked User Guide and Release Notes but I can't find any information about update procedure - so may question is - can it be done without uninstalling previous version of SRA ?

I've installed SRAs in the past but this is first time I need to upgrade it on live system (of course I'll take snapshots of SRM VMs before starting process) and so far I can't find a lot of details about how to do it.

So help is appreciated Smiley Happy

Do you want upgrade the IBM Storwize SRA for 2.3.0 ? If yes, the recommendations is uninstall the previous version before install the new.

Storwize Family Storage Replication Adapter – Version 2.3.0 – Running the installation wizard

Before you begin

If you are upgrading to version 2.3.0, it is suggested that you uninstall your current version before installing version 2.3.0. You must satisfy all of the prerequisites that are listed in Preparation before you start the installation.

One additional question - does SRA upgrade with uninstallation/installation impacts other SRM configuration pieces (Protection Groups, Recovery Plans) - I understand recovery plans can't be executed during process but do they need to be reconfigured or recreated afterwards ?
