According to our IBM Technical Partner Advisor, NetApp will release the 4.0 SRA in December.

--edit Just found this on the netapp site:

"The new NetApp adapters will be posted shortly, we expect within the next few days."

go to the vmware.com downloads page, go to SRM 4.0 download as if your going to download SRM 4.0. when you get to the last page where you download SRM from you will see below it the SRA's available to download as well. cannot post a direct URL as you need to login to get to the final page.

hope that helps

Goto:

Accept EULA

Check the bottom of the download list.

VMWare hasn't added the SRA to their beta download site yet.

That's probably why you have trouble finding it.

The NetApp SRA available for download on vmware.com is the NAS (NFS) adapter.

They will also release a SAN (FC/iSCSI) adapter.

Make sure you're looking at the download site, not the eval site--the eval site can take a little bit longer to have the SRA posted.

I see SRAs for: 3PAR, Compellent, EMC Celerra, EMC CLARiiON, FalconStor, Hitachi, HP EVA and HP XP. No Netapp, no Lefthand (see another thread). Are there multiple versions of this page? I'm not looking at a beta page, this is the product eval download page.

Carter, a lot of the vendors have not yet released there updated SRA's for SRM4.0 there for the HCL for the product is smaller then to last release. However this said, this is a vendor issue not VMwares as the Storage providor supplies the SRA's for SRM integration not VMware Smiley Wink You will need to poke NetApp and HP to see when the updated SRA is to be released.

The SRA for NetApp apparently you need to have a license for SRM to get it. This is what I got off the netapp blog. This is why some can see it and others cant.

NetApp's SRA for NFS was posted earlier this week. It is available if you are logged in to download--if you click on the "download" button for SRM from the downloads page and log in, you will see that SRA. It is not yet on the evaluation download page (the one that people on this thread have been referencing) but we will be adding it there very soon. Apologies for the delay in getting it posted to the evaluation downloads page.

Thanks,

Jon
