Protect Virtual Machine error

Getting an error "A general system error occurred: Invalid location .vmsn file for VM Snapshot". Anyone scene this or know how to fix? I did have a entry for the WorkingDir: that I had to take out of each of my .vmx files to get the VM to even be scene in the Protection Group so I could even attemp to protect it. thanks

Do you have snapshots associated with the virtual machine?

If so have you tried deleting them? As I'm aware snapshots at the vm level with SRM are not supported.
