Problems with installation of Vmware Site Recovery Manager 5.1

Dear All,

It is my first post on this community, so if this is not the correct forum queue, please let me know.

I have a problem with installing Vmware SRM 5.1. This installation (including the vCenter 5.1) is done only for a test purpose on a test environment. That is why there are no security configurations and etc. , everything is done with root account.

The problem is that during the installation I receive: Internal error: unexpected error code: -1. message, when I try to connect the Vmware SRM to the vCenter. You can see the attached screenshot.

Both of them are trial versions (don`t know if it is connected to the issue or not).

Please let me know from where I can start the troubleshooting.

Hi Aleksandar,

welcome to the community.

As vCenter is normally installed on a windows host, are you sure there's a root account on that server?

In the wizard you have to enter the Windows Credentials and NOT the ESX Credentials.
