Physical Servers to DR Virtual Site

I am planning our DR for our remote site, but wanted to know if the below was possible?

I have several physical exchange servers attached to a SAN (datastore) and wanted to know if it was possible to DR to a remote site, but with all virtual servers on a SAN?

Can only point me to some docmentation?

This question hinges on what version of Echange you are running. 2010 is light years ahead of 2007 when it comes to disaster recovery. Smiley Happy

SRM cannot recover physical servers and cannot control replicated LUNs that are not used by virtual machines.

I had the same problem with both Exchange and SQL servers. In our situation, the production LUNs are replicated to our DR site, so our solution was to create VMs at the DR site, install the binaries and power down the machines. During testing (and in a real DR situation), we manually map the replicated LUNs to the VMs and spin them up.
