No datastores in "Review replicated datastores"

Im setting up SRM but when I add both my NetApp filers (with replicated datastores) im not seeing any replicated datastores in the "Review replicated datastores" result screen in the Configure Array Managers setup.

We are using SRM version 4.0.0.3290 with the NetApp NAS adapter 1.4.

This is the error i'm getting in the log files:

What can I do to solve this problem?

Make sure that Exports for the source Vols have both read/write and root-access permissions for your hosts. Hosts in the recovery site should also have the correct permissions to the target volumes.

I checked the export permissions. All the hosts in the cluster (primary and recovery) have read/write and root access.

Can  you expand on your NetApp config? Do you have a separate network for your storage?

I am also assuming you have already configured the SRA under SRM?

Give this a browse. I have this book and it helped a lot during my first install. http://www.scribd.com/doc/57359286/Administering-VMware-SRM-4-0

What do you need to know?

We have 2 x FAS2020 (one primary, one secondary) with 3 snapmirrored NFS datastores. The files have their own VLAN. Both our vCenter servers (with SRM installed) have access to this network.

Well I installed the NetApp SRA and there is nothing to configure. The configuration takes place in the array manager configuration and that's exactly the part I cannot get past. I'm pretty sure the error I posted in the first post has something to do with it.

What version of Ontap are you using 7 or 8? SRM version and SRA version do match but I wonder if SRA 1.4 applies to ONTAP 8.

Since SRM4 is end of life, I would recommend using SRM5 and SRA 2.0. I know I had some issues with the older version of SRA myself.
