We have a bi-directional VMWare SRM setup The Environment: 2x vCenter 5 Standard Servers in linked mode, SRM 5 and NetApp FAS/V-Series Storage Replication Adapter 2.0.0.0 on vCenter Servers, 4 ESXi5 hosts at each DataCenter
NFS storage is presented to the ESXi5 hosts.
When we undertake a recovery (failover of protected Virtual Machines to the recovery DataCenter), the NFS root and read-write permissions are changed from a subnet (172.18.11.0/24) to a long list of IPs corresponding to the IP addresses of all VMKernel ports configured on the ESXi host virtual switches - which will have been amended by the SRA.
Is this normal behaviour for the SRA, or should we be able to manually set root and read-write permissions for the NFS Exports without the SRA amending these when an SRM recovery is carried out?
