Need some assistance

I have 3 servers in a cluster and HP DAS, we have a second datacenter where we want to move 1 server to there is storage there also ISCSI I know with SRM we need storage replication which I will use a third party product for. What I need to know is the networking, we have a 10 MB/s line between datacenters, however I have a brain block as to how I can have a failover and still have connectivity from the internet to web servers and so on at the second site on the same domain names without changing dns records?

Do I need the datacenter to duplicate the external ip addresses at the backup datacenter? How does that all work,, can anyone point me in the right direction.

For my last companies implementation we had networking in place, Internet access, etc.  The plan was to modify external DNS records to the IP address for our recovery datacenter.  Simple, effective but there is the potential delay in propagation.

That would work in the short term maybe,, but there must be a way to do this.
