Installing SRM 5.8 when using vCSA

Trying to install SRM 5.8 and having some issues:

Local vCenter is vCSA 5.5 U2. Certificates were replaced on vCSA for all services using internal Microsoft CA.

SRM server is 2012 R2 that is joined to same domain as issuing CA.

When installing SRM, I've created the certificate file to utilize from the same internal CA. The cert has Subject Alternative Names including the short name, FQDN, and the IP. It's accepting the certificate but saying that vCenter server doesn't trust the certificate. Full error is: "VMware vCenter Site Recovery Manager's client certificate is not trusted by vCenter Server."

Considering that I replaced all certs on vCSA from the same issuing CA, shouldn't it trust this cert?

Any thoughts on moving forward?

I believe you have the same problem as the one described here:

Re: Using CA signed certs on vCenter 5.5U2 appliance and SRM 5.8 (vPostgres)

Please try the resolution I have offered there and post the result.

Thanks,

Asen

That was it. I knew I would have to upload the root certificate on the vCSA but was unsure of the location and command to run afterwards.

Thanks for your help.
