How to rename placeholder datastores

Hello ,

I had to adjust my placeholder LUNs names to the company naming standard. I did it on vsphere level, but SRM (5.5) still sees the old names.

The service restart did not help.

Should I remove and add them again? Or maybe I should revert the previous names and then remove/rename and add ?

Any hint highly appreciated, Regards.

Hello,

Please remove and add them again in order to reflect the new datastore names. Notice that in Add Placeholder datastore the new name appears.

The nice thing is that it is enough to remove/add at one site only. At the second site SRM by itself recognised the new names.
