How to force replication traffic down separate Vlan with SRM 5.1

we have installed SRM 5.1 and deployed the VR appliance but we would like to send replication traffic down an intersite link which is on a different Vlan to the vlan that the vcenter server and production vms sits on  , Is this possible and does anybody have any idea how to do this?

Hi,

You can try with special routing rules for the replication traffic ports - 31031 and 44046. The source hosts use these ports when sending replication traffic to the target VR server. In SRM 5.0 and 5.1 VR does not support multiple NICs per VR appliance and you can not directly use separate IP address for the incoming replication traffic in the VR server.
