Export Protected vms SRM 5.0 can't be done? Brick wall...

Can't be done?  Custom scripts are out there, but we can't get them to work...Come on VMware: at 500 bucks a VM we should have SOMETHING...especially when your customers have to manage several sites and thousands of VMs

How do folks live with this?  Has anyone found a useable solution?  Any suggestions?

I'm afraid that even Chuck Norris won't be of any help here.

Joking aside, I fully agree with what you have said, happy to remove these posts to see if you get a real answer, but it may end up like this...
