Duplicate Array ID error

Hi,

When i try to add an Array Manager I get a "Duplicate Array ID 'xxxxxx' " error and I cannot add the array manager. I have uninstalled and reinstalled SRM and still get the same error. Anyone seen this before?

Thanks

Hi,

Found the answer to this. There was a problem with the Array IDs in Compellent Enterprise Manager.

Thanks.

I am not familiar with Compellents but assuming they are FC attached, can you check what the WWPN IDs are of the SP Interfaces and check that there are no duplicates and also if you have any unused SPs.

VCP6-DCV, VCP5, CCNA, MCTS 2008R2, MCSA 2008R2, CCA, ITIL. Please mark answer helpful or correct as appropriate.
